Shipping & Delivery Policy – Forest to Finish

At Forest to Finish, every piece is built to order with the care and craftsmanship our customers expect. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we handle the delivery of your furniture and what to do if any problems occur.

1. Shipping Area

We provide white-glove local delivery within roughly 150 miles of Madison, Alabama, including Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley.
For customers outside this region, we arrange delivery through trusted freight carriers experienced in handling fine furniture.

2. Lead Times

Because all of our furniture is custom-made, the typical lead time is 4–8 weeks from the time we receive your design approval and deposit.
We will notify you as soon as your piece is ready to schedule delivery or shipment.

3. Delivery & Shipping Fees

Local delivery is usually charged at a flat rate based on distance and item size.
Freight shipping for out-of-state orders is quoted individually to ensure the best rates and safe transport.
Any applicable delivery or freight fees will be disclosed before finalizing your order.

4. Packaging & Handling

Each piece is carefully wrapped, padded, and crated as needed to protect it during transit.
For white-glove local service, our team or delivery partner will bring the piece into your home and perform light assembly or placement as requested.

5. Inspection & Reporting

Please inspect your order carefully at the time of delivery.
If you notice any visible damage, note it with the delivery team and take clear photos.
All shipping-related damage or defects must be reported to Forest to Finish within 48 hours of delivery at foresttofinishmadison@gmail.com or 256-339-5446.
Timely reporting allows us to file claims with carriers and resolve the issue quickly.

6. Responsibility After Delivery

Once the delivery is complete and the 48-hour window has passed, Forest to Finish cannot be held responsible for damage caused by mishandling, improper assembly after delivery, or normal wear.
